These arabica beans come from Centrocafe, a small coffee farmer in a community-based association in the region of Cajamarca (North of Peru). Centrocafe works to support the commercial endeavours of its members and the local community, investing part of their revenue to grant access to basic health, education, and other social services.
The coffee is grown at an altitude of 1000–1900m above sea level. The taste profile has a crisp acidity, medium body, with hints of milk chocolate, dried fruits, honey, and caramel.
